Alegra Motorsports starting P6 for the 60th Running of the Rolex 24 At Daytona

Under downright chilly conditions, the Alegra Motorsports team competed a successful test week at the 2022 Roar Before The 24. Michael De Quesada and Linus Lundqvist secured a P6 grid position to start the 60th Running of the Rolex 24 At Daytona after a strong performance in the 100-minute qualifying race.

“We maximized results,” said Michael De Quesada. “We had a different balance than what we had in the previous practices, and I know the team is working hard to get our Mercedes-AMG dialled in for the 24 Hours coming up.”

The race was the longest stint in the number 28 Mercedes-AMG for Swede Linus Lundqvist; “It was a good qualifying race and good experience for me. We have a little bit of work to do on the setup, but overall, the car is performing well. P6 is an excellent way to start the Rolex 24 hour race.”

Next up for Alegra Motorsports is the 60th Running of the Rolex 24 At Daytona starting at 1:40 PM EST Saturday, January 29th.
