Alegra Motorsports is a championship-winning team, competing in race series across North America. With a 20-year motorsport history, Alegra Motorsports is not just committed to winning races, but also to preserving the history of vintage motorsports.

    While attending Emory University, Carlos started driver education events with the Porsche Club of America. Following college, he went to his first racing school at Skip Barber, which led to sportscar competition in both vintage and professional racing. In 1996, he created Alegra Motorsports and has developed the fledgling team from humble roots to a powerhouse in motorsports, competing in several race series across North America and winning the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2007. Ten years later, Carlos returned to Daytona to repeat the victory, this time alongside his son and teammate, Michael.

    Our Crew Chief and the guy that keeps the GT3s moving, Tony Ditto hails from Tampa, Florida. Tony worked on the Daytona Prototype program before moving to Alegra in 2009. He takes a no-nonsense approach and is able to tackle the most challenging issues in the paddock with limited resources.

    Born October 29, 1999, Michael is the youngest member of our team. He has competed in multiple series, earning his first championship in 2016 in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama, and following it up the next year with a victory at the Rolex 24 at Daytona. In 2019, Michael raced alongside teammate Daniel Morad in the GT3 Pro class of the Blancpain GT World Challenge America.

    Canadian driver Daniel Morad has earned his track cred with over 25 wins and 53 podium finishes in his 20-year career. His notable victories include the 2017 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, the 2016 IMSA North American Cup and more.

    Race Engineer Larry Hahn is responsible for ensuring the cars are optimally set up for each event. He is able to draw on his extensive motorsport background, including his time with the Tom Milner’s PTG BMW factory team, to ensure that each car is ready to race.

    From Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Bob is a seasoned driver, having competed in various series from 1972-1994. He has been Alegra Motorsports' data engineer for the past nine years, using his uncanny ability to interpret data acquired from the vehicles and translate that into plain English. Catch him with his laptop perched on top of a GT3, loading data and making sense of it all.
